Within the framework of the harmonisation of the functioning of our Company, “TECHNOLINKS PACKAGING S.A.,” with the new Regulation (EU) 679/2016 (GDPR), regarding the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, we wish to inform you that our company “TECHNOLINKS PACKAGING S.A.” has taken all necessary steps to adopt the procedures for collecting and archiving the personal data of its customers by limiting the persons who have access to the personal data and complying with security codes for the protection thereof.
Collection of Personal Data
Our company collects and stores the personal data of its customers, limited only to data that is absolutely necessary in order to communicate with them and inform them about the Company’s operation, the promotion of its products, any promotional events, as well as any information that may be required for the conclusion of business contracts with them. Our employees process and archive the personal details of our customers, ensuring that this information is processed lawfully and guaranteeing the integrity and the confidentiality of the data. Only personal data that is absolutely necessary for performing of the above actions of the Company is archived.
Data Transmission
Our Company does not transmit the personal data of its customers to third parties for use or further processing. By way of exception, personal data may be transmitted to the competent tax authorities if this is legally required in compliance with Tax Law.
Processing of Personal Data
Our Company collects the name, surname, address, telephone number and e-mail of its customers for the sole purpose of informing and communicating with them and we take all the necessary measures to protect the data by limiting the processing of such data for the intended and legitimate purpose for which it was collected.
Our employees archive and handle the data of our customers and keep them in a standard or digital format for purposes of informing clients about the Company’s operation, new products, promotions, etc., whenever necessary. They always act with care and discretion by applying an Information Security Management System in compliance with data protection and safety in order to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access or any other unlawful forms of processing.
Retention of Personal Data
We retain our customers’ data in a standard or digital format throughout our collaboration with them. When there are no dealings with them, the data is kept in our archives for five years from the time it was collected. We will destroy this after five years without further notification.
The Rights of Subjects Regarding Personal Data
Every personal data subject may at any time have access to his or her data in order to:
- Get acquainted with his data, in relation to its processing and the purpose for which it is retained by our Company.
- Request that this data is corrected or completed if it is incomplete or incorrect.
- Request a restriction of processing if there are any objections to the processing of the data but if he does not wish to have the data deleted.
- Request at any time to have the data deleted from our company records.
For any matters relating to the processing of his or her data, the subject may contact “TECHNOLINKS PACKAGING S.A.,” who is the data controller. The Company reserves the right to add new information, update, change, or modify the terms of this Processing of Personal Data Policy at its sole discretion, always within the existing or future legal framework.
